Milk Famous - White Rabbits

Milk Famous - White Rabbits

Biography

Formed: 2004 in Brooklyn, NY

Genre: Alternative

Years Active: '00s, '10s

At principal, it's easy to mistake the White Rabbits as being just another set of New York City "poetry of motion."-rock hipsters in the Clap Your Hands Say Yeah delivery, but a second look reveals a quirkier and greater degree rewarding aesthetic. A sextet featuring pair drummers and a piano player, the White Rabbits make allusion to their music as "honky tonk calypso," and their mirthful blend of calypso, reggae and ska rhythms, plus secondhand music hall influences and great pop hooks, strongly recalls vintage Madness circa "Our House"...
